Support


TDS provides full logistical support during the entire lifetime of the product. Transport Data Systems' field support engineers assist customers in installation and on-site testing of new and upgraded systems at customer locations throughout the world. They continue that support through the Transport Data Systems' technical support line, e-mail support and a complete training program.

Installation Support

TDS supplies a complete installation manual with every system. A pedestal is supplied for mounting of the Doppler radar. Drawings are included for all of the curb mounting hole patterns as well as the mounting of the associated electronics. TDS will also supply installation support to the customer during the initial installation phase to insure a timely and proper installation.

Hardware and Software Support

Transport Data Systems(TDS) provides hardware spare parts and software support for products delivered, in accordance with specific prior arrangements. TDS field support engineers respond quickly to customer requests for technical information, spare parts or on-site assistance in upgrading or maintaining their systems.

Internet Product Support

TDS offers customers support through the Internet. Clients may e-mail Software Trouble Reports (STRs) to Customer Support.

Training

TDS offers training courses for operators and maintenance personnel. Utilizing instructor-led, computer-based simulations and hands-on simulation exercises, students learn all aspects of operation and configuration of hardware and software. Basic courses are one week in duration, but their modular design permits them to be tailored to meet customers' needs. Training is conducted at the TDS facility in San Diego or at customer sites and other locations worldwide.
