"A Complete Line of Servers for Every Processing Need"
Transport Data Systems offers servers for use in a variety of applications including:
- All Systems - Local Lane Plate and Container Recognition, Vehicle Profiling and Vehicle Classification
- Toll Systems - Plaza Transaction and Violation Storage
- Homeland Security Systems - Central Server Storage and NCIS Query
Local Lane Server
The Lane Server is a generalized server that is designed to manage discrete image capturing and to interface with various lane sensors to provide the automatic vehicle profiling and classification functions. It can also include a sequencer to perform association functions with respect to transactions being generated by a lane controller. The Lane Server incorporates a fully featured database for transaction and event storage. The lane server can also perform the OCR process on each image in order to extract the vehicle or container plate string. The server can host a set of business rules and apply a series of other transaction and data related functions including image compression, local violation processing, data forwarding to a Violation Processing Center, and alarm disemination. TDS provides a web page interface on the servers to allow for remote interaction with the images and transactions stored on the server, as well as for remote maintenance. The server uses the Linux operating system.
Plaza Server
The Plaza Server is designed to accumulate images and transactions from discrete lane image capture and vehicle classification systems, perform the OCR process on each image, compress each image, support local violation processing and forward the images, classifications and violation messages to a Violation Processing Center. Long term data storage can also be provided by the Plaza Server. The server design can easily be extrapolated to serve in a variety of other data concentration and data fusion applications.
The Linux based Plaza Server includes:
- Fully featured database for transaction and event storage.
- Web page interface to allow for remote interaction with the images and transactions.
- Real time feeds of transaction and image data to a remote web browser.
Central Server
The Central Server is designed to interface with a central host database, to perform queries on state and federal databases and to transmit query results to remote locations. It can also accommodate image and transaction storage from discrete image capture systems. TDS also provides a web page on this server to allow for remote interaction withthe images and transactions stored in the database or on the server. The server uses either the Linux or WinServer operating system.
