Press Release

July,
2001 - The Burlington County Bridge Commission (BCBC) has
placed an order with Transport Data Systems for AVC software
for implementation in all lanes at the Burlington and Tacony
Bridges. The software accepts inputs from a 10 foot light
curtain, Doppler radar, four strip treadle and dual tire
detector to produce the complex classifications required
by the BCBC. The AVC software will be incorporated into
the lane controller by Parsons Engineering. The profiles
generated by the AVC software will be saved along with the
transactions whenever a tag violation is detected. The profile
can then be used as part of the violation fee collection
process. The system will be operational by the middle of
2001.
