- Transport Data Systems has received an order from Icetronica
for vehicle classification and image capture systems for 4
lanes at the Hvalfjörður Tunnel. These systems include
overhead lane processors, laser scanners, Doppler radar and
front and rear Firewire® color cameras. The lane processors
interface with the existing Q-Free lane controllers. A central
server is included for storage and web site viewing of images
and violation transactions.
Transport Data Systems designs, develops, produces, and sells automatic vehicle classification, weigh-in-motion and license plate capture products for the fare collection, commercial vehicle operations, parking lot access, and border crossing markets. TDS also provides system, hardware and software design services and installation management services for real time data collection and control systems with particular emphasis on the fare collection market.
