FDACS Upgrade Program
TDS has completed the installation and testing of the TDS Tag Recognition System for the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at their agricultural inspection station located in Mayo, Florida. This inspection station is the 11th site that TDS has installed for FDACS. This site includes 2 additional features that TDS has recently added to the TRS. The vehicle separation at this station is performed using a laser that is from the TDS Vehicle Profiling product line. TDS has also added USDOT recognition capability to the side view camera. Since 2006, TDS has provided FDACS with their license plate readers, container readers, back end software, and maintenance services for these items.
